Marguerite is an acupuncturist and massage therapist currently licensed to practice in both Oregon and Hawaii.  Marguerite has adopted a "roots and branches" approach to her style of bodywork- the root is the use of acupuncture needling techniques to bring the governing meridians into balance and the branches are the specific treatment modalities chosen to address each complaint. With each session Marguerite seeks to provide recipients with treatments that result in decreased pain, increased flexibility, improved mobility, and an overall sense of well-being.

She initially embarked on her path as a bodyworker in 2001 in New York State, where she successfully navigated a two-year degree program in massage therapy, unique in that it provided clinical experience through partnerships with two hospitals and a chiropractic college. In the years to follow, Marguerite continued to earn proficiencies within a plethora of relatable modalities. She began her study of acupuncture in 2009. She received her Master's Level Reiki attunement on the Big Island of Hawaii in 2011.  She traveled to both Guangzhou and Tianjin, China in 2013 to take advanced study courses in Traditional Chinese Medical Theory and Clinical Practice. She volunteered and trained with Acupuncturists Without Borders in Pahoa, Hawaii in 2014. Marguerite holds an Associates Degree in Massage Therapy from Trocaire College, Buffalo, NY; a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Portland State University; and a Master's Degree of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Institute of Clinical Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Honolulu, Hi.
