In 2004 René started studying and practicing massage in Santa Cruz, California through Cypress Health Institute.  She has continued her education and training at Heartwood Institute and East West College of the Healing Arts.  René's work is highly influenced by the study of myofascia and myofascial lines along with structural bodywork and various therapeutic techniques.  She strives to be a facilitator of change -  encouraging change in the body through working together with her clients to optimize joint mobility, ease and space in the body, stress management and pain reduction.

René is a passionate body worker and student of the human form who loves to learn and deepen her skills and knowledge.  She is an avid mover and dancer, and is currently a teacher trainee for the Axis Syllabus - a system of compiled research in biomechanics, anatomy, physics and additional sciences in relation to the body in movement.

She believes in the body and it's inherent ability to heal.  She believes everyone deserves and can achieve a pain free life of comfort and greater movement possibilities.
